Note to: “B2B @ Digital Rail Convention 2021”

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) supports small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe. The network consists of over 600 partner organisations from more than 60 countries. In Saxony, the EEN is represented with eight local partners. Parallel to the conference on Smart Rail, we organise the international cooperation exchange “B2B @ Digital Rail Convention 2021” to initiate cross-border contacts. We are supported by our foreign network partners. First log in with your company profile via our online platform B2B @ Digital Rail Convention 2021. Then you can select and request interesting companies for meetings (30 min.) among the participants of the B2B event. This allows you to individually plan your B2B talks in parallel to the conference. The EEN-Sachsen team will be happy to answer your questions about the event. Contact:een@zts.de

Another parallel event is the “Multimodal Mobile Workshops” of the Saxon Energy Agency -SAENA GmbH

Multimodal offers offer an approach to successfully shaping the triad of mobility, transport and energy transition. Easily accessible integrated offers, which make the means of transport tailored to the needs are available, can both reduce dependence on the own car and at the same time increase the attractiveness of more environmentally friendly offers. Consolidating multimodal offers, both in the city and in rural areas, can contribute to the achievement of climate protection targets and restore public spaces for other uses.
For the functioning of these offers, both the physical and the digital foundations must be provided. This raises questions such as spatial planning in the sense of pedestrian and cycling traffic, the design of mobility hubs in the cityscape and the creation of a uniform database for integrated services. These and other questions will be discussed in the “Multimodal Mobile Workshops” for the first time. Stakeholders from Saxony who can contribute to the successful implementation and consolidation of multimodal offers, such as municipalities and districts, state authorities, transport companies or mobility service providers, are invited.
